Kristi Nakata (she/her) is a Yonsei (fourth generation) Japanese American fiber artist born and raised in the Seattle area, on Duwamish and Coast Salish land. Kristi creates macraweave wall hangings combining techniques of macrame and weaving. This collection of landscape macraweaves captures the beauty of the Pacific Northwest across all seasons.
Every aspect of a WEND Jewelry original is carefully sourced using SCS Certified Recycled precious metal or Fairmined gold. Every gemstone has a known story, and our handmade jewelry is crafted in our Seattle studio.
Most jewelry is designed on a computer. At WEND Jewelry, we design in nature, and create nature inspired jewelry collections and custom jewelry by hand. We use traditional goldsmithing tools to make your handmade jewelry.
Most jewelry is gendered. WEND Jewelry collections can be worn by you, no matter who you are. If you appreciate nature and prefer rugged, well-made, gender neutral jewelry, you have found it. Gender shouldn't define jewelry; you should.
