Our Commitment to Inclusivity
At WEND, we seek to redefine gender stereotypes by offering gender neutral jewelry. Unfortunately, gender neutral is not a phrase often associated with jewelry collections.
Traditionally, jewelry is gender specific, with certain pieces marketed for men (basic wedding bands, signet rings, leather corded necklaces, cufflinks, large watches, etc.) and certain types marketed for women (solitaire diamond engagement rings, statement necklaces, bangle bracelets, stud earrings, rose gold etc.)
We are proud that our jewelry collections offer gender neutral jewelry.
Gender roles are thrust upon us from before we are born. We’ll dress her in pink and him in blue. We’ll give her barbies, and him little green Army men. She’ll excel in art, and he’ll excel in math. And, on and on.
Thankfully, many families are breaking these traditions, and encouraging the next generation to be themselves. Hopefully you are exactly where you want to be.
Putting people and inclusivity first is a core value at WEND. Why should the traditional fine jewelry industry determine which pieces are for whom?
WEND’s gender neutral jewelry never presumes to make this choice for you.
At WEND, there is no distinction between masculine and feminine jewelry. There just doesn’t need to be. Gender shouldn’t define jewelry, and jewelry shouldn’t define gender. We believe in gender neutral jewelry.
Gender shouldn't define jewelry
