Lexie Tiffany
began as an apprentice at WEND but is now our lead bench jeweler. She is a master wax carver, a jewelry designer, a moldmaker, and a caster.
Fun Facts about Lexie:
She loves making things – crochet, knitting, cooking, sewing, and so much more.
Lexie is from Wisconsin, where she started working in a jewelry store at age 15. Her college thesis was on the Sustainable Jewelry Movement.
Her favorite jewelry tool is the cleoid/discoid.
Mitzy Oubre
moves metaphoric mountains to bring our art shows to life. As the WEND Gallery Manager, she works with our artists and the West Seattle Art Walk team to create meaningful, successful art shows.
Fun Facts about Mitzy:
She is a puppy raiser for the non-profit organization, “Guide Dogs for the Blind." Therefore, she often has a very well-behaved pup by her side.
Mitzy is from Louisiana, and she has the aphorisms and very slight accent to prove it.
She wears a WEND wedding ring made over 20 years ago!
Wendy Woldenberg
is a goldsmith, teacher, and connector. After a two-week backpacking trip around Mt. Rainier, everything changed and Life 2.0 started.
She founded WEND Jewelry, a rugged fine jewelry brand focused on ethical sourcing and nature-inspired designs.
Fun facts about Wendy:
She taught high school Jewelry/Metals for 22 years while making custom jewelry on school breaks.
She coached varsity tennis for 6 years.
She is the youngest of 7 children.
Her favorite jewelry tool is her chasing hammer.
