Show Title: Achieving Ataraxia
"Achieving Ataraxia" explores the pursuit of inner resilience and peace through color and texture. Using cold wax and oil paints, I create layered, intuitive compositions inspired by nature. Each color serves a purpose—earth tones ground us, blues and greens soothe, and deeper hues invite reflection.
Through the tactile qualities of cold wax, I invite the viewer to pause and engage. This work seeks to capture the tranquility that nature offers and the emotional power that specific colors bring to our lives. I invite you to get lost in an image and find your own sense of ataraxia.
